PDP tackles INEC over inconclusive polls
…says INEC boss acting APC’s script

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, of overtly playing the script of the Buhari-led Presidency and the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the inconclusive elections in some States.
INEC had on Monday declared inconclusive, governorship elections in Bauchi, Plateau, Adamawa, Taraba, Benue, Kano and Imo States where it was observed that the main opposition PDP is leading with little margin.
The party, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan insisted that INEC, under Prof. Yakubu, has become partisan, alleging further that he has surrendered the commission’s independence to the APC.
“The PDP has full intelligence of how INEC is acting on instructions from the Buhari Presidency and the APC in orchestrating unwholesome situations and declaring already concluded governorship elections in Sokoto, Adamawa, Bauchi, Plateau as well as other states as inconclusive, immediately it becomes obvious that the PDP was set to win,” he said.
