Senator Adeleke Commiserates with Victims of Rainstorms in Osogbo
The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the last polls, Senator Ademola Adeleke has commiserated with victims of rainstorm at Osogbo ,calling for immediate emergency assistance to cushion the pains of victims.
In a message he personally issued today at his Countryhome in Ede,Adeleke consoled the people of Oke-Baale, Gbonmi, Isale-Osun, Kelebe, Ofatedo, Igbona, Oke Onitea among others who were affected by the natural disaster.
Expressing personal grief at the destruction of several properties worth millions of naira, the “people’s Governor” urged the victims to take heart ,noting that God will replenish what they lost.
He also described the incident as sad, avoidable and unfortunate even as he prayed to the Almighty God to provide the means to bring succour to the victims.
Senator Adeleke however assured the people of Osun that his administration will take proactive and concrete steps to avert such disasters once the stolen mandate is restored by the ongoing Judicial process and he takes over leadership of the state as widely and legitimately decided by Osun people.
He chided the interim administration of Gboyega Oyetola for continuing the legacy of people neglect as established by Aregbesola’s government of which Oyetola was a part of for 8years.
